Cashback Shopping

There are several companies that will pay you cashback to shop through their website.  They are free to sign up for, and if you're going to be shopping online anyway, then you might as well earn a little cashback!  Here are some companies that I have joined that I like to shop through:

Ebates - This company is my favorite to earn cashback through.  They are the easiest to understand because they give you percentages back.  You can see the amount you have earned so far in real dollar amounts (some use points that you have to convert and figure out on your own).  So I'm a big fan of this company.  I like to do my shopping and THEN log into Ebates when I'm ready to make the purchase.  You don't have to remember to request a check...they send them out quarterly if you have over $5 in your account (you have to earn $5 on top of your initial $5 they give you).

InboxDollars - This is also a good company.  You have to earn $30+ before you can request a check, but they send some sweet deals to your inbox.  You get 2 cents per e-mail (advertisement) read.  Each e-mail will tell you how much you can earn if you buy whatever they are advertising.  My favorites have been to buy the Entertainment Book (advertised for $12 and InboxDollars gave me $8) and Vistaprint.com often has a deal sent through them for free things (shipping usually ends up just under $5 and InboxDollars gives you $5).  You can also get credits for shopping through their website.  Many of their deals are exclusively through the e-mails, so be sure to read them.  The 2 cents per e-mail adds up pretty quickly.

MyPoints - This company is OKAY, and free like all the others.  However, it seems to take a long time to earn points through them.  Every once in awhile they have a good deal, though.  Like for my birthday they gave me points for a purchase PLUS extra points because it was my birthday.  That was nice.  However, because it is points instead of real value, it is hard to figure out and I think it is not as rewarding.  You get points for reading e-mails with this company as well.  On MyPoints you earn points and turn them into rewards, so instead of cash you have to get gift cards, etc.  Still a reputable company, though.
